In February I built an AI cycling coach to get to know Claude Code. Six months later it is something else: a coach with a memory, with questions of its own, and with a direct line to my bike computer.

Update, August 2026: This post is from February and describes the app as it was set up back then. It has moved on a long way since. The training methodology is selectable now, the coach has a memory, it asks me questions back, and it no longer runs locally. What became of the weekend project…
