Dining
Binibona is a village with 30 inhabitants. No supermarket, no bar—just sheep and olive trees. And right in the middle, a finca that has everything you need after a ride. Probably the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed.
Arrive and never want to leave
Finca Ca’n Beneït is located above the Binibona valley, at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana. Ten rooms, a restored 19th-century chapel, and a centuries-old olive mill that still works. Add to that olive groves, almond trees, and gardens spread across the entire property. That’s the short version.
What makes the finca special is the attention to detail. Each room is furnished differently, yet always combining Mallorcan tradition with modern style. High ceilings, heavy wooden furniture, plus a minibar with free soft drinks and proper coffee. Nothing feels forced—everything fits together. And then there’s the silence. You really only hear birds and occasionally the sheep next door.
Your host Toni personally makes sure everything is just right. The service feels like staying with friends rather than at a hotel. You notice it in the small things: an honest recommendation for the next day’s ride, a spontaneously organized picnic, or the way the team welcomes guests in the evening.

Road Cycling Finca Mallorca Tramuntana: Rides from your doorstep
For road cyclists, the location is ideal. There’s a secure bike room with tools, so your bike is safe. And the rides start right at the front door—no need to navigate through hotel strips or industrial areas first.
The finca is strategically located at the foot of the Tramuntana, between the towns of Caimari, Selva, and Alaró. From here, you can reach the island’s major climbs without having to pedal through flat terrain for hours beforehand. At the same time, quiet side roads through olive groves and small villages are accessible in every direction.
If you’ve never been to Mallorca: the Mallorca road cycling guide offers a great overview of the island. In addition to the recommendation below, the climb to Coll de Sa Bataia from Caimari (8 km, 400 m elevation gain) is highly recommended and just a few kilometers from the finca.
Pool, sauna, and the calm afterwards
After the ride, the pool awaits. It’s set slightly elevated in the garden, with views of the surrounding mountains and the valley. There’s also a Finnish sauna tucked away between the stone walls. Massages can be booked as well.
Sounds standard—but it isn’t. The combination of absolute silence, mountain views, and the knowledge that there are a maximum of 20 guests at any time makes all the difference. No fighting over sunbeds, no typical hotel pool atmosphere. Just arrive, put your feet up, and forget everything else.

Dinner time: Menu at Mirabona
The Mirabona restaurant is hard to beat in terms of coziness. Breakfast is served on the terrace with views into the valley. In the evening, a multi-course menu featuring Mallorcan cuisine made from regional ingredients and the estate’s own olive oil. The olives are still pressed on-site in the centuries-old mill.
The cuisine is honest, regional, and carefully prepared. Paired with a good wine selection and service that is attentive without being intrusive. On warm evenings, you sit outside on the terrace and, on a clear day, can see all the way to the sea. It’s one of those moments that makes you wonder why you don’t do this more often. For cyclists who just want a great meal after a long ride and then fall into bed, it hardly gets any better.

The route you absolutely must ride.
Our tour: 56 km, 880 meters of elevation gain. From Binibona via Selva and Alaró up to Es Verger, the legendary mountain restaurant at the foot of Castell d'Alaró. The climb is steep, narrow, and full of hairpin turns. In 2025, the road was completely repaved; the old, bumpy surface is a thing of the past. Once at the top, you have a view across the entire island plain all the way to Puig de Randa. We continued on through Santa Lucia and back to Binibona. A perfect half-day tour with enough elevation gain to earn your dinner.
