About YM–C: Henri + Anton

Since 2019, we – Henri & Anton – have been riding together on road bikes and gravel bikes. What started as a two-wheeled idea has become a platform for real experiences, honest recommendations, and visual storytelling with depth. We don’t just ride – we tell stories. About tours that inspired us. Moments that stuck with us. And about gear, places to stay, and regions that truly deliver. Always personal, never staged.

You, Me & Cycling is more than just a blog.

We create content for brands, tourism regions, and event organizers who want to spark a desire for movement, being outdoors, and good views. Whether it’s a blog story, photo shoot, reels, product review, or editorial collaboration – we show what cycling feels like. With style, substance, and genuine curiosity.

How it all began

2019: Anton with an Instagram full of bike photos, Henri with North-German skepticism and zero road cycling experience. Then Anton showed up with a piece of cardboard, measured Henri’s sit bones in her living room and bought a saddle off Ebay. Henri had never seen the road bike. She had the saddle first.

Four months later, Henri was hooked. On the riding as much as on the rider. A home-trainer FTP test became a Trainerroad plan. The first 60-km lake ride eventually grew into years of 10,000 km in the saddle.

That’s how You, Me & Cycling came to be. Two perspectives, one magazine. Anton with the equipment tests, brevets and workshop stories. Henri with the tour concepts, weekenders and travel reports. Personal, honest, no PR speak.

What cycling means to us

We believe cycling is more than just sport. It’s about scenic pauses, local food, and small detours that become lasting memories. In our posts you’ll find real tour tips, personal gear reviews, favorite places to stay, bikepacking inspiration, and reflections on life on the road. Sometimes in a short note, sometimes a long story – but always grounded in our values.

Got questions, feedback, or just want to connect? Write us anytime. And if you don’t want to miss our latest updates: follow us on Instagram – sometimes straight from the saddle.

What we write about

Every story on You, Me & Cycling is rooted in real experience on the bike. Concretely that means:

  • Equipment tests, honest and after real use over weeks or months
  • Travel reports from Mallorca, Italy, the Alps and the Chiemgau
  • Weekenders, compact multi-day tours with overnight stays
  • Cycling-friendly hotels we have tested ourselves and would recommend
  • Bikepacking and brevets, from 200 km up to multi-day format
  • Cycling culture, vintage gear, design language, workshop topics

More from us – now also on YouTube

Long-form stories, gear, tours, and tech: on our YouTube channel, we tell cycling stories through images that show not just where we’ve been – but what moved us.
